Rentals of the Castle and/or Coach House may be considered on an individual basis.

While many guests prefer buffet-style events, the Castle dining room can seat up to 16 guests around a large rectangular table. The Coach House has hosted informal buffet-style gatherings (including weddings) for up to 50 without the use of marquees. It can host events using marquees for numbers up to 150 (maximum).

The rear garden area is ideal for marquees for weddings, corporate events, etc., and can be erected either separate to or adjoining the rear of Coach House, making it an ideal and beautiful venue for weddings and all other events in this large (c.2,500 sq.ft.) but cosy, historic and homely stone cottage-style building.

There is sleeping accommodation for 18 guests between the Castle and Coach House buildings which are adjacent to each other.

Ballyhannon Castle has proven most popular for celebrations of special birthdays, reunions, anniversaries and other family milestones, and indeed as an ideal honeymoon location. It is an especially unique and memorable venue for weddings.

Regretfully, the Castle is not accessible to those with even mild limitations of mobility or vision. The ancient spiral staircase in the Castle has narrow stone steps which were actually originally designed to be uneven (so that any invader unfamiliar with them would stumble as they slipped through the shadows, dagger poised!).
