Ballyhannon Castle has proven most popular with small groups for birthdays, reunions, anniversaries and other family milestones, and indeed as an ideal honeymoon location.  It is an especially unique and memorable venue for small weddings.

Regretfully, this property is not accessible to any traveller who has even mild limitations of mobility or vision. The ancient spiral stairway in the castle is very steep and the stone steps were actually originally designed to be uneven (so that anyone unfamiliar with them would stumble as they slipped through the shadows, dagger poised!).

For each property, on arrival the guest signs the check-in form and a cash deposit of €500 is payable. Rental fees exclude utilities consumed during the rental stay e.g. electricity charged by meter readings, phone usage (detailed in phone bill received monthly by the Proprietor), internet by 3G card, gas bottles, garbage, firewood etc. After taking for utilities and any breakages/missing items, such balance Deposit is refunded (and please allow a number of weeks for phone bill to be received by the Proprietor).
